Let’s Talk Public Health is committed to fostering growth, inspiration, and innovation among the next generation of public health professionals. Our Experiential Learning Program (ELP) provides opportunities for public health undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their health communication skills in a way that reflects their interests and allows for creative exploration and professional growth.
ELP participants can choose one of two tracks: a fellowship or an internship. The fellowship track is designed as an independent study based on the interests and needs of the participant. Let’s Talk Public Health provides training, guidance, technical assistance, and accountability to help them complete the fellowship. The internship track is a bit more traditional, where students choose an internship position that aligns with their interests. Let’s Talk Public Health provides meaningful professional experiences, guidance, and support throughout their internship program.
We are excited to announce our inaugural cohort of ELP participants for Fall 2023.
Our fellow Felicia worked on creating a communication campaign sharing information and resources for black mothers in New York City. We could not be more proud of her work and her growth! You can read more about her experience in her blog post. Our interns Hanan and Nashrah have been supporting Let’s Talk Public Health’s communication, marketing, and creative production. If you’re receiving our newsletters, liking our social media content, or tuning into our video and podcast series, you’ve seen some of the work of our interns. We are so proud and honored to have such a great group of students!
